Hopkinsville Police stopped a burglary in progress Sunday morning and arrested the suspect. Officers were called to 1234 Pyle Lane about 3:30 a.m. after a woman said someone had broken into her home. Fire destroys Cadiz home

Fire destroyed a home in Cadiz early Sunday morning. The call of fire at 433 Hillview Drive came out about 12:45 a.m., according to Cadiz Police Officer Scott Raup, who says a woman and her adult daughter were able to escape. Princeton man killed in WK Parkway accident

Rain was a factor in a single-vehicle accident Saturday morning on the Western Kentucky Parkway in Hopkins County that killed a Princeton man.
