Guns stolen in Country Club Lane burglary

Hopkinsville police are investigating after two guns were stolen in a burglary on Country Club Lane. The victim was staying in a physical rehabilitation facility when someone went inside his apartment in the 600 block of Coutry Club between November 14 and 17 and stole his 38 Special revolver and Jennings 9 mm pistol, according to a report filed Friday with HPD. Means Avenue home struck by gunfire, no injuries

No one was injured when a home on Means Avenue was struck by gunfire early Saturday morning. It happened about 3:15 a.m. and the gunfire came during an altercation between individuals outside 139 Means, according to Hopkinsville Police Lt. 9th ranked Wildcats win fourth straight game over UAB

Nick Richards and EJ Montgomery each scored 16 points and combined for 17 rebounds, helping 9th ranked Kentucky beat UAB 69-58 last night. Immanuel Quickley and Ashton Hagans each added nine points as Kentucky got its fourth consecutive win. The Wildcats are back in action next Saturday hosting Fairleigh Dickinson with pregame at 1:30 on Lite Rock 98.7.

HFD now accepting toys for annual Christmas for Kids toy drive

Hopkinsville Fire and EMS will be at Walmart on Clinic Drive in Hopkinsville Friday and Saturday to collect toys for their annual Christmas for Kids Toy Drive.
