One of this week’s Crime Stoppers fugitives of the week was arrested after a foot pursuit Monday afternoon and a woman driving a vehicle he had been inside was arrested on methamphetamine charges. Hopkinsville Police arrested a man for burglary Monday night. Officers were called to a possible burglary at a warehouse located at 130 Douglas Street about 7:15 p.m. and the owner said she arrived at the building to find a door open and a bicycle nearby. Auditor hopes to find county savings on phone bills

Christian Fiscal Court recently contracted with Telecom Audit Group in a no-risk agreement both sides hope will pay off with savings on the county’s phone bills. Man arrested for theft of motorcycle

The Christian County Sheriff’s Department arrested a local man Sunday after he allegedly stole a motorcycle belonging to his mother. An arrest citation for 19-year old Jacob Weatherford of Hopkinsville says he took a key to his mother’s storage unit and removed the motorcycle without her permission.
