Todd Co. reports 27th COVID-19 related death

The Todd County Health Department reported a new COVID-19 related death there Friday and one new case. The department says Todd County will finish April with the highest case county since January—there are 28 active cases, two of which are in the hospital for treatment.  The new victim is the 27th death in Todd County since the pandemic began related to COVID-19 complications.

Man injured in vehicle vs. lawn mower collision in Logan County

An Olmstead man was flown to a Nashville hospital Friday morning after a vehicle collided with the lawn mower he was operating in Logan County. Victory and determination celebrated at Christian Co. Drug Court graduation

There was a big ceremony on the steps of the Christian County Justice Center Friday afternoon, as numerous people celebrated beating addiction with graduation from the Drug Court program. Foust hired as Director of Ops for Murray State women’s hoops

photo credit: Murray State athletics After succeeding Rechelle Turner as the head coach at Murray High School, Wyatt Foust will now join her staff at Murray State as the Director of Women’s Basketball Operations. Foust has distinguished himself as an elite coach in Kentucky since succeeding Turner at Murray in 2017. In two seasons at Murray and the last two seasons at Butler, Foust compiled a 101-15 record.

Princeton woman injured in accident

A Princeton woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon at South Seminary and West Main Street in Princeton. Police say 27-year old Travis Robinson of Princeton was attempting to cross West Main on Seminary and didn’t see a westbound vehicle on Main driven by 74-year old Janet Tandy of Princeton and their automobiles collided in the intersection.
