Last night’s Ohio Valley League scores/Tonight’s games

Dubois County scored six times in their first four at bats and downed Muhlenberg County 11-7. Paducah scored three times in the seventh inning and doubled up Fulton 4-2 and defending OVL champion Owensboro fell to Henderson 11-9. Tonight’s OVL Games: The Franklin Duelers play their first game at Owensboro, Dubois County travels to Henderson and Paducah welcomes Muhlenberg County.

Hopkinsville plays McCracken County in semi state game today

The Hopkinsville Tigers meet the McCracken County Mustangs in semi state action at WKU’s Nick Denes Field at 4 pm today. The teams met late in the season with the Mustangs winning 5-1 at Tiger Field. McGee suffers first loss as Hot Rods lose to Lugnuts

The Bowling Green Hot Rods lost their third-straight game in the series opener, 5-2 to the Lansing Lugnuts last night. Hopkinsville’s Easton McGee suffered his first loss of the season, going 5 2/3 innings, allowing five hits, four runs-three earned with three walks and four strikeouts. McGee is 4-1 on the season. The teams play again tonight in Lansing.

Boy flown to Vandy after fall from swing

A boy was flown to a Nashville hospital after falling out of a swing from a significant height in eastern Christian County Friday night.
