Ky. gains 4,548 COVID cases, 23 deaths

Kentucky gained another 4,548 cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, along with 23 new deaths. According to the daily COVID report, roughly 1,407 of those newly reported cases were individuals 18 years of age and younger.  The positivity rate increased slightly, now up to 13.66 percent, while all but one county on the state incidence rate map remains ‘red’, including all of western Kentucky. Princeton resident facing drug trafficking charges following investigation

A Princeton man is facing multiple drug trafficking charges following an investigation by the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force. According to a social media post, Todd Central will travel to Meade County. Todd Central is replacing DeSales, who canceled due to COVID protocol. The Rebels have played just one game this season, a 56-28 win over Trigg County August 20th. Their other two games with Fort Campbell and this week with Webster County were canceled due to COVID protocol.

Williams will be in his third season as a captain, the only player in school history to do that while West joined the Cardinals this season after transferring from Marshall University.
