Hoppers, Flash set for doubleheader showdown

It will be a doubleheader showdown between the top teams in the Ohio Valley League tonight when the Hoptown Hoppers travel to face the Henderson Flash.  The Flash lead Hoptown by a half-game for first place in the OVL standings. Draw set for Region 2 Softball Tournament

The Region 2 Softball Tournament is scheduled to begin Monday morning at Lee S. Fincham tosses no-hitter, Colonels rout Fort Campbell

Christian County scored 13 runs in the top of the fourth inning and hammered host Fort Campbell 19-0 in a four-inning baseball game Thursday.  The Colonels (17-13) had 10 hits on the day and took advantage of 10 walks.   Andrew Mayes had a pair of doubles. Lady Colonels score late to topple Madisonville

Former UHA track stars shine at weekend meets

It was a big weekend for two former University Heights Academy runners.  Cole Glover led Eureka College to a 10th-place finish in the Vikings Olympics track meet in Rockford, Ill.  Glover placed seventh in the 1500 meters with a personal-record time of 4:12.16.  Meanwhile, Evelyn Morales placed 13th in the 400-mter hurdles with a time of 1:08.53 in the Indiana State Pacesetter Invitational track meet.  Morales, a senior at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, moved to No. 70 […]

Hoppers 2026 schedule released by OVL

The Hoptown Hoppers 2026 baseball schedule has been released by the Ohio Valley League. Hoptown will open the season May 29 against the Madisonville Miners. The 40-game regular season schedule will conclude on July 18 also against the Miners at home. The playoffs are scheduled to begin July 20.
