Former Murray State basketball coach Greene dies Wednesday

There were five new confirmed coronavirus cases Wednesday in Todd County. They are three adults, one minor and a patient whose information was not available. Fourteen of Todd County’s active cases are healing at home and one is hospitalized.

CCHD reports five additional COVID-19 related deaths locally

The Christian County Health Department reported five additional COVID-19 related deaths Wednesday, along with 13 new cases locally. Todd County schools to have recorded, drive-through graduations

Todd County Central High School seniors will have drive-through and recorded graduation ceremonies this year. The recorded ceremony will be May 17 inside the high school’s auditorium—with the Horizons Academy going first at 9 a.m., followed by Todd Central seniors at 10 a.m. No guests will be allowed at that ceremony, which will be posted on the district’s Facebook page. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear reported 815 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, in the last live update of the week. Proceedings continued in N. Kentucky Avenue murder case to review evidence

Proceedings were continue Wednesday in Christian Circuit Court in the case against Larayna and Anthony Manning, who are charged in connection with the October 2020 shooting death of Calvin “Cue” Taylor. Both appeared virtually Wednesday, with Anthony Manning—who charged with complicity to murder and complicity to robbery—appearing alongside defense attorney Shannon Powers.
