The Christian County Health Department reported five additional COVID-19 related deaths Wednesday, along with 13 new cases locally.
According to a news release, those five deaths were identified from the audit that was conducted on the state reporting system, and brings the death toll locally to 90. The victims include a 55-year old white female, a 90-year old white male, a 68-year old white female, a 78-year old white female and an 81-year old white female, all of whom reportedly had under lying health conditions.
The department also reported 13 new cases, putting the total at 6,600 since the pandemic began—of that, 154 cases are considered active and 6,356 individuals have recovered from the virus.
