14-year-old struck by vehicle in Clarksville

A Clarksville teenager was flown to a Nashville hospital Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle in Clarksville. According to the Clarksville Police Department, it happened in the intersection of Black Oak Circle between an SUV and a 14-year-old bicyclist. Benton man suffers injuries in Cadiz Road wreck

A single-vehicle wreck on Cadiz Road in Christian County resulted in injuries on Tuesday. According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, Christopher Kaplan of Benton was driving west on Cadiz Road near Lester Road when he suffered from a medical issue that caused him to start convulsing. Trigg County’s Carson Kline took home medalist honors in a three-team boys’ high school golf match Tuesday afternoon at Western Hills Golf Course.  Kline edged Heritage Christian Academy’s Cruz Egbert by one shot in the nine-hole match. University Heights Academy opened the 2026 high school volleyball season Tuesday night with a 3-1 loss to host Graves County in Mayfield.  The Lady Blazers had hoped to give their head coach Faye Hendricks a birthday win.
