There were flakes of snow in the air Halloween afternoon, but that didn’t stop hundreds of eager trick-or-treaters from descending on downtown Hopkinsville to get some candy. Law enforcement officials in Calloway County are searching for a Calloway County Jail inmate who reportedly escaped from a work detail Thursday afternoon. According to Kentucky State Police, Henry M. First Christian Church’s Promise Land Preschool 7th Annual Christmas Bazaar is coming up Saturday. A Mayfield woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Graves County. Kentucky State Police say 27-year old Matthew Rowland of Mayfield was westbound on KY 80 and 81-year old Nancy Riley of Mayfield failed to stop at a stop sign as she was traveling on KY 1124.
