Congressman Comer votes ‘no’ on impeachment resolution

Western Kentucky Congressman James Comer voted against the House impeachment resolution Thursday. Cold doesn’t stop good turnout for downtown trick-or-treating

There were flakes of snow in the air Halloween afternoon, but that didn’t stop hundreds of eager trick-or-treaters from descending on downtown Hopkinsville to get some candy. KSP searching for Calloway Co. escapee

Law enforcement officials in Calloway County are searching for a Calloway County Jail inmate who reportedly escaped from a work detail Thursday afternoon. According to Kentucky State Police, Henry M. KC Royals name Matheny as new manager

The Kansas City Royals hired Mike Matheny today, bringing in a manager who took the cross-state St. Louis Cardinals to the World Series six years ago before a three-season swoon costhim his job. The 49-year-old Matheny went 591-474 with the Cardinals and was the first manager to reach the postseason his first four seasons. Promiseland Preschool Christmas Bazaar is Saturday

First Christian Church’s Promise Land Preschool 7th Annual Christmas Bazaar is coming up Saturday. The 2nd ranked Wildcats play their final preseason tune up tomorrow night against Kentucky State, with pregame at 4:30 on Lite Rock 98.7 and lite987whop.com. Absentee voting this Saturday at clerk’s office

Absentee voting will be available Saturday morning at the Christian County Clerk’s Office. Mayfield woman killed in Graves County crash

A Mayfield woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Graves County. Kentucky State Police say 27-year old Matthew Rowland of Mayfield was westbound on KY 80 and 81-year old Nancy Riley of Mayfield failed to stop at a stop sign as she was traveling on KY 1124.
