Man arrested for marijuana trafficking

An investigation at a Greenville Road apartment early Friday morning led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man for marijuana trafficking. Hopkinsville Police were investigating potential domestic violence after officers were called to interview a woman in the Jennie Stuart Medical Center emergency room. Governor Orders State Spending Cuts

State government in Kentucky is again getting leaner by order of the governor. Governor Matt Bevin yesterday ordered a 1.3-percent spending cut for most state agencies. The governor says Kentucky is looking at a $150 million shortfall next year, and he wants to get state spending in line with the money the state has to spend.

A total of 31 guns were stolen during a “smash and grab” type burglary at a Clarksville gun store Christmas morning.
