University of Kentucky College of Agriculture specialists will host a winter wheat meeting next week in Hopkinsville.
It will be Thursday, January 4th from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the James E. Bruce Convention Center and topics will include the 2018 market outlook, reassessing the 2017 wheat freeze event, weather, climate, wheat in Kentucky and predicting winter wheat growth and development.
Officials from Siemer Milling will be on hand to give an update and many other topics will also be discussed.
Lunch will be provided by the Kentucky Small Grains Growers.
