In Kentucky, children entering kindergarten must five years old before August 1, but the Christian County Public School System allows parents to submit petitions for their children to start elementary school if they are still four years old. Hopkinsville Fire and EMS’ boasts of paramedic program success

Since its inception a year ago, the Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Paramedic Program has graduated nearly 100 EMTs from its ranks.
