A Madisonville man has been charged with rape in connection with a reported assault at a nursing home in Madisonville.  According to the Madisonville Police Department report, officers were called to the nursing home facility on Thursday for reports of a sexual assault. Work zone in place Wednesday on portion of I-24 in Lyon County

Heads up to motorists who travel I-24 between Livingston and Lyon counties—on Wednesday, there will be a lane restriction in place between the 32 and 35 mile-points. The Christian County Public School System is putting out a warning about fraudulent solicitations going around the community.  According to a news release, there have been reports of scammers, unauthorized individuals contacting local businesses about “sponsorship opportunities” or other requests related to the new Christian County High School.
