Man accused of pointing gun at woman

A Hopkinsville man accused of pointing a gun at a woman was charged Tuesday afternoon. An arrest citation for 31-year old Zachary Fox says the alleged victim claimed Fox stopped his vehicle in the area of Canton Street and Edmonds Street and pointed a gun at her. Fox reportedly admitted he had exchanged words with the woman, but denied pointing a gun. Fox was charged with second-degree wanton endangerment.

HS Softball: Hopkinsville loses while UHA wins Tuesday

McLean County edged Hopkinsville 7-6 despite 20 hits from the Lady Tigers. Sebrina Hodge, Kaitlyn Kaetzel and Nadia Clayton each had three hits for Hopkinsville with Marley Hancock taking the pitching loss. Hopkinsville is now 9-17 on the season. University Heights downed Dawson Springs 27-17. The Lady Blazers are now 3-9 on the season.

UK prospect Hampton reclassifies for 2019 class

Kentucky target R.J. Hampton is reclassifying into the class of 2019 from the class of 2020. Hampton will graduate from high school early and announced the Wildcats as one of his top four schools. Memphis, Texas Tech and Kansas are also in the running. Hampton is one of the top point guards available and is considered a five-star prospect.
