Christian County baseball ends district play undefeated

Christian County concluded district play with a perfect 6-0 record following a 12-2, 6 inning win over Fort Campbell. The Colonels had a quartet of players, Jase Polley, Wyatt Stevenson, Eric Silvy and Elijah Underhill, who each had two hits. Titans decline contract option for Conklin

The Tennessee Titans are declining the fifth-year contract option for offensive tackle Jack Conklin, meaning he will be a free agent after the coming season. He played just nine games last season due to a knee injury. The Titans drafted Conklin eighth overall in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Omaha Beach scratched from Kentucky Derby

The horse that was the favorite the Saturday’s Kentucky Derby won't be in the race. Omaha Beach has been scratched from the race due to what's called an entrapped epiglottis. It's a condition that affects cartilage in the horse's airway and can affect the horse's performance. The horse with the best odds is now Game Winner at nine-to-two, followed by Improbable and Roadster at five-to-one.
