The Christian County Sheriff’s Department arrested a local man Sunday after he allegedly stole a motorcycle belonging to his mother.
An arrest citation for 19-year old Jacob Weatherford of Hopkinsville says he took a key to his mother’s storage unit and removed the motorcycle without her permission.
Weatherford reportedly admitted to taking the bike, but claimed he did have permission.
He was arrested for third-degree burglary and felony theft, with a possession of marijuana charge added after a K9 alerted on his car and the substance was found in the floorboard.
