Up to seven people hurt in Caldwell County crash

Up to seven people were injured in a wreck Monday evening in Caldwell County. It happened on Nabb School Road just east of KY 139 in the Hopson Store community, according to information from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. Air Evac was called, but had to decline due to weather. Caldwell County called for ambulances from Lyon and other surrounding counties. No other details have been released on the incident.

A wrong-way driver caused a fatal crash Sunday afternoon on Interstate 65 in Warren County. Investigation by Kentucky State Police determined 30-year old Cassandra Garrison of St. Louis was southbound near the 24 mile-marker when she slowed down to an extremely low rate of speed and a passenger exited. Arrest made in connection with Hayes murder

An arrest has been made in connection with the murder of 35-year old Joey Hayes of Hopkinsville last week in Trigg County. Charged with murder, receiving stolen property and tampering with evidence is 43-year old James Gentry of Hopkinsville.
