WKU hoopster Anderson arrested in Bowling Green

Western Kentucky’s Josh Anderson was arrested early Thursday morning on a charge of second degree disorderly conduct. According to Bowling Green Police, officers responded to a parking lot at Hilltop Club Apartments where a large crowd of people were. Officers asked the crowd to disperse but Anderson refused. Hopkins County man arrested for online sex crimes against child

An investigation by the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch has led to the arrest of a Hopkins County man for charges related to child sexual exploitation. A news release says Rice was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. A two-vehicle wreck Thursday afternoon at East Ninth Street and McLean Avenue injured a local man. Hopkinsville loses in KHSAA Soccer semifinals

Hopkinsville saw its season end in the semifinals of the KHSAA State Tournament falling to Highlands 2-1. The Tigers placed Xavier Bussell and Ryan Roussel on the All Tournament team in finishing the season 19-7-2. Highlands will move on to the finals to face St.X, who defeated Henry Clay 1-0. The championship game is tomorrow night in Lexington.
