A Hopkinsville woman accused of using someone else’s credit card to the tune of $800 in purchases at the Paducah Walmart this summer has been arrested. A warrant for one felony count of fraudulent use of a credit card says 40-year old Shannon Haynes of Hopkinsville used the stolen credit card to make two purchases totaling just under $800 on June 30th. Warrant: Woman stole from grandmother

An arrest warrant for felony theft and credit card fraud was served Wednesday against a woman accused of stealing from her grandmother. It alleges that between July and September of this year, 26-year old Michelle Davis of Hopkinsville stole approximately $1,800 worth of property belonging to her grandmother and that she used her grandmother’s credit card to make about $170 worth of unauthorized purchases. Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

A traffic stop at Walnut and East 10th Street Wednesday evening led to the arrest of a local woman on drug charges. The Cincinnati Reds have hired Derek Johnson to be their pitching coach. He was the pitching coach for the Milwaukee Brewers the past three seasons. Johnson was also the Chicago Cubs minor league pitching coordinator from 2013 through 2015.
