Preds get road win at Tampa Bay
Kyle Turris and Roman Josi scored first period goals as the Nashville Predators went on to beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-1. CCPS receives ‘clean’ audit
The Christian County School Board approved the fiscal year 2017-18 audit report at Thursday’s meeting and heard the nurses’ report for the first nine weeks of school. Woman charged with 3rd DUI after south Todd Co. wreck
A Simpson County woman is facing several charges, including her third DUI, following a single-vehicle wreck Thursday afternoon in Todd County. Guthrie Police Chief Dean Blumel received a call at about 4:30 p.m. of a reckless driver on KY 181 headed southbound and later learned that she had left the roadway and crashed through a fence. Man killed in Hopkins County collision
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a wreck on Hopkinsville Road Wednesday that killed a Nortonville man. According to a news release, a vehicle operated by 72-year old Kenneth Dalton of Nortonville had been traveling south on Hopkinsville Road around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. ‘Sneak peek’ held at Sportsplex
Although the ribbon cutting for the Hopkinsville Sportsplex has been delayed, that didn’t stop officials from inviting people into the facility for a sneak peek Thursday afternoon. Two members of Christian County’s Lady Colonels will sign collegiate letters later this month. Tyler Shemwell will sign her letter with Murray State on Wednesday November 14th at 2 pm and Emmy Blane will sign with the University of Kentucky on Friday, November 16th at 2 pm.
