Lexington native Josh Teater had a one over round 72 and Franklin’s Kenny Perry is at two over 73 following the first round of the PGA Tour’s Shriners Hospital for Children Open in Las Vegas. Peter Uihlein had an eight under 63 and has a one shot lead heading into today’s second round.
Princeton’s Emma Talley had an even par 72 in her opening round of the LPGA Tour’s Toto Japan Classic. She is seven shots off the lead heading into the second round which begins this evening US time.
