A two-vehicle accident on Marion Road in Caldwell County Saturday evening sent one of the drivers to a Nashville hospital. Hopkinsville police are investigating a shots fired incident from Saturday night outside of the Lafayette Road Circle K. Someone fired a gunshot in the air with four people, including a minor, nearby at about 10:15 p.m., according to the incident report filed with HPD. No one was injured and the incident is being investigated as first-degree wanton endangerment.

A Hopkinsville firefighter has worked his last shift after 25 years of service and an Oak Grove volunteer firefighter has graduated from the Nashville Metro Fire Department Academy and will soon begin serving there.
