Manslaughter case dismissed due to grand jury process

A motion to dismiss the second-degree manslaughter case against Seth Henderson, who had been charged in connection to a fatal drug overdose in 2021, was granted following a hearing in Christian Circuit Court Monday morning. More teams unveiled for Best of West Passing Tournament today

Five more teams have been announced for the Best of the West 7 on 7 passing tournament coming to the Stadium of Champions this summer. Kentucky Class 3-A runner up Paducah Tilghman, Muhlenberg County, Northeast from Clarksville, Whites Creek from Nashville and the West Carroll (TN) War Eagles will be coming to the event to be held July 16-17.

UK loses Payne to Transfer Portal

Kentucky Sports Radio reports Zan Payne-the son of new Louisville coach Kenny Payne-is transferring from Kentucky. Zan Payne came to Kentucky before the 2018-19 season out of Lexington Catholic. He sat out in 2019-20 due to a knee injury he suffered during his final year of high school. Payne played in nine games for the Wildcats last season.
