The victim in a fatal shooting on Power Street in Clarksville has been identified by police as 47-year-old John Cole of Clarksville.
According to a news release from the Clarksville Police Department, the investigation is still ongoing and no further information is set to be released at this time. As previously reported, officers were called to a shooting in progress at 708 Power a few minutes after 1 o’clock Sunday afternoon and found a man inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds.
Cole was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Clarksville Crime Stoppers at 931-645-TIPS.
