Cadiz woman charged with robbery following shoplifting incident

A Cadiz woman was arrested Friday morning by Hopkinsville police on robbery and methamphetamine charges. Officers were called to the Walmart Supercenter and were told by store personnel that 39-year old Crystal Allen of Cadiz had stolen merchandise and threatened physical force as she fled with the items. UPDATED: Pedestrian killed in accident on Bypass Friday night

The man killed after being struck by a vehicle Friday night near Bradshaw Road on the Bypass has been identified. Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel says 35-year old Marquis Patterson of Clarksville was identified as the victim after a missing person’s report was filed on him with the local ECC. Kentucky faces NC State in Gator Bowl Saturday
