Austin Peay hosts Eastern Kentucky in a men’s/women’s doubleheader at the Dunn Center. The women’s game tips off at 1 pm with the men’s game scheduled for 4 pm. Murray State puts its 25 game home winning streak on the line against Morehead State. The Racers are 3-3 on the season and 1-3 in OVC play. Tipoff at the CFSB Center is at 4 pm.

NHL looking at playing outdoor games in Lake Tahoe next month

The NHL is reportedly planning a pair of outdoor games in February. Sportsnet is reporting the league will invite the Vegas Golden Knights to play the Colorado Avalanche and the Boston Bruins to take on the Philadelphia Flyers for a two-day event at the Edgewood Tahoe Resort at Lake Tahoe. Todd Co. gains two new COVID-19 cases, reports 17th death

The Todd County Health Department announced the county's 17th COVID-19 related death Friday. No details were given about the victim by the health department, which also announced two more COVID-19 cases, putting the overall total there at 703. Woman hurt in single-vehicle Madisonville crash

A Hanson woman was taken to a local hospital following a crash involving a deer in Madisonville on New Year’s Eve. According to the Madisonville Police Department, a vehicle operated by 35-year old Kylee Hill of Hanson was traveling southbound on Stagecoach Road when a deer ran into the roadway.
