A Hanson woman was taken to a local hospital following a crash involving a deer in Madisonville on New Year’s Eve.
According to the Madisonville Police Department, a vehicle operated by 35-year old Kylee Hill of Hanson was traveling southbound on Stagecoach Road when a deer ran into the roadway. Hill swerved to miss the animal and then over-corrected, causing her to lose control of the vehicle. It left the roadway and struck a culvert.
Hill was taken to Baptist Health Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
