The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans daytime closures along a section of /Will Jackson Road in Trigg County starting Monday. Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams has announced that his office purged nearly 33,700 dead citizens from the voter registration rolls. 13th ranked Kentucky’s women’s basketball team opened Southeastern Conference play with a 75-64 win over 10th ranked Arkansas on New Year’s Eve. The Kentucky Wildcats are in Jacksonville going through final workouts today before their game with North Carolina State in the Gator Bowl tomorrow. It will be the first time the teams have played since 1970. Pregame coverage begins at 9 am tomorrow morning on Lite Rock 98.7.
The final week of the regular season is this weekend and the Tennessee Titans control their destiny as far as making the playoffs are concerned. The Titans are at the Houston Texans Sunday with kickoff at 3:25 pm. A Titans win secures them the AFC South title.
