Thursday’s Scores: Mississippi State held off 24th ranked Tulsa 28-26 in the Armed Forces Bowl, Ball State routed 22nd ranked San Jose State 34-13 in the Arizona Bowl and in the Liberty Bowl, West Virginia edged Army 24-21.
Today’s Games: Ninth ranked Georgia meets 8th ranked Cincinnati in the Peach Bowl at 11 am, 14th rated Northwestern faces Auburn in the Citrus Bowl at noon.
The two College Football Playoff semifinal games take place later in the day as top ranked Alabama goes against 4th ranked Notre Dame in the Rose Bowl in Arlington, TX at 3 pm with second ranked Clemson facing 3rd ranked Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl this evening in New Orleans. The winners of these two games will play for the national championship January 11th.
