Christian Fiscal approves leaving property tax rate the same, while tangible rate decreases

Occupants safely rescued from malfunctioning elevator at local hotel

The Hopkinsville Fire Department helped set a scary situation back to a calm one Sunday, after responding to an elevator emergency at a local hotel.  According to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS, Battalion 2 responded to the hotel, where it was determined that 12 occupants were trapped on the malfunctioning elevator.
