The University Heights Academy girls’ and boys’ golf teams doubled up on Thursday afternoon at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club. A collision involving two tractor-trailers on Interstate 24 in Oak Grove resulted in injuries Thursday morning. The Interstate 24 Welcome Center at the Kentucky-Tennessee line will be closed until further notice due to a plumbing issue at the facility. According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the building itself will be closed to visitors, but the parking lot will remain open to travelers.
