A damage survey team from the National Weather Service in Paducah confirmed Sunday it was an EF2 tornado that caused damage downtown and on the east side of Hopkinsville New Year’s Day morning. The Hopkinsville Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Latham Avenue early Sunday morning. According to HFD Lt. Man critically injured after hit by vehicle in Trigg, driver arrested

A man was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle Saturday morning in Trigg County. Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Jered Werner investigated and determined John Brandon was walking south on Military Road near Roaring Springs when he was struck by a vehicle operated by Michaela Carpinet of Herndon. Todd County reports 145 COVID cases over 12 days

In its final report of 2021, the Todd County Health Department reported 145 new cases of COVID-19 over a 12-day period. Fourteen of the new cases are minors, five of the patients are hospitalized and 44 of the 145 are vaccinated. Todd County has had 2,099 cases and 36 COVID deaths since the pandemic began.
