Woman hospitalized after Butler Road fire in Todd County

Fire destroyed a home on Butler Road in Todd County Saturday morning and a woman who escaped the blaze was taken to the hospital.

Todd County Emergency Management Director Daniel Smith says the Honey Grove and Fairview fire departments responded to the blaze near Jones Road and that the residence was a total loss.

The woman who got out of the home was taken by EMS to a local hospital for smoke inhalation.

There was no word on cause of the fire.
