A man was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle Saturday morning in Trigg County.
Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Jered Werner investigated and determined John Brandon was walking south on Military Road near Roaring Springs when he was struck by a vehicle operated by Michaela Carpinet of Herndon.
Brandon was transported to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville and was reportedly in critical condition.
Investigation led to the arrest of Carpinet on charges of aggravated DUI, second-degree assault and driving without a license or insurance.
