A new agent has been appointed to work at the Christian County Farm Bureau south office in Hopkinsville. Rick McGraw is a Kentucky native and studied business administration at Kentucky State University. A news release says McGraw He will work with Agency Manager, Ashtyn Hudson, and the staff at Christian County Farm Bureau – South, located at 250 Burley Avenue.
The Todd County Rescue Squad is hosting a barbecue Saturday to raise money for the family of Garth Camp, a squad founder who served the community in many ways during his life. Lawmakers are back in Frankfort resuming the 2021 session of the Kentucky General Assembly and there is pressure on them to pass legislation to legalize historical racing machines that are at horse racing tracks across Kentucky, including in Oak Grove. A traffic stop Monday night for an equipment violation led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man on drug and gun charges.
