Agencies partner on ‘Hopkinsville Bingo’

Several area organizations are partnering on a ‘Hopkinsville Bingo’ project. The Downtown Renaissance District, Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville and the Pennyroyal Arts Council have joined together for ‘Hopkinsville Bingo: Summer in the City.’ It begins Monday and continues through July 31. Local woman hurt in collision at Walmart Neighborhood Market

A two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon at the Walmart Neighborhood Market injured a local woman. It happened about 4:20 p.m. and the report from Hopkinsville Police Officer Gary Hicks says 42-year old Brandie Bowman of Hopkinsville was traveling toward Walmart from Country Club Lane and made a turn toward the fuel station. HPD investigating storage unit burglary

Hopkinsville police are investigating a storage unit burglary. Someone got inside a unit at Bypass Self Storage on Charles Garnett Drive between the beginning of the year and Tuesday night and removed almost everything inside, according to the burglary report, which says the property belongs to a Clarksville woman. No suspects are named and the investigation continues.
