Two people were injured in a wreck Friday night at Country Club Lane and Cox Mill Road. It was investigated by Hopkinsville police and the report from Officer Michael Sandbrink says 18-year old Cory Tomlinson of Hopkinsville was southbound on Cox Mill when witnesses said he ran a red light and struck the passenger side of an eastbound pickup on Country Club operated by 35-year old Penny Priddy of Hopkinsville. Gennett makes debut as Reds down Cubs 6-3 in Cinci Friday night

Chicago Cubs pitcher Cole Hamels left after only one inning because of discomfort in his side and the Cincinnati Reds snapped a four-game skid by beating Chicago 6-3.
