Two people were in hurt in a head-on collision on in Madisonville Thursday afternoon. According to the Madisonville Police Department, the collision occurred at the intersection of Island Ford Road and Chelsea Drive. A local teenager has been identified as the victim who drowned Thursday at the Cerulean rock quarry. The Trigg County Coroner’s Office says 17-year old Zachary Isiah Cheatham of Christian County died in the accidental drowning at the quarry on Cobb Road. The driver of a semi-truck was flown to a Nashville hospital following a wreck on Interstate 24 near the 56 mile marker in Trigg County Thursday. A wreck Wednesday morning in Princeton injured one of the drivers. It happened about 11:50 a.m., with Princeton police saying 50-year old Lori Dyer of Princeton was northbound on South Jefferson Street and James Flatt was westbound on East Legion Street.
