The Nashville Predators won their second consecutive game Tuesday defeating the Philadelphia Flyers 4-2. Juuse Saros made 32 saves with Viktor Arvidsson scoring a pair of goals. Craig Smith and Rocco Grimaldi also lit the lamp for Nashville, who returns to action Friday in the first of a four game road trip at Detroit.

A single-vehicle wreck in Todd County New Year’s Day morning led to a man being arrested for DUI and methamphetamine charges. A residence on South Road in Trigg County was destroyed by fire early New Year’s Day.
