The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be closing portions of KY 276 and Cadiz Road in Caldwell County on Thursday and Friday of this week.
According to a news release, a section of Blackhawk Road, or KY 276, will be closed starting Thursday morning around the 0 mile marker to allow for a cross drain to be replaced. This along Blackhawk Road just east of the KY 139 intersection. The closure will begin around 8 a.m. and the road is expected to reopen around 3 p.m. There will be no marked detours.
On Friday, the Transportation Cabinet will close Cadiz Road near the 7 mile marker in Caldwell County to allow for cross drain replacement. This is along Cadiz Road about 3 miles south of the Princeton City Limits between Rock Springs Road and Silver Star School Road.
The road should reopen around 3 p.m. on Friday. There will be no marked detour.
Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near road construction and watch for flaggers, equipment and other personnel working close to the roadway.
