Western Kentucky Congressman James Comer says the Farm Bill compromise on the table in a conference committee he serves on will be good for Kentucky farmers and the commonwealth’s rural residents. Vandy tight end Cockrell succumbs to cancer

The Vanderbilt Commodores are mourning the loss of tight end Turner Cockrell, who died yesterday after a battle with cancer. The 21-year-old was diagnosed with melanoma last year and missed all of this season while undergoing treatment. The team wore his jersey number-82 sticker on their helmet all season.
