Country Club Lane accident injures driver

A two-car crash Friday on Country Club Lane injured one of the drivers. A Hopkinsville Police report says 19-year old Arizona Depler of Hopkinsville was stopped and waiting to turn left onto Givens Drive. She proceeded and struck an eastbound pickup driven by 36-year old Shannon Noshbusch of Hopkinsville in the driver’s side rear. Local woman hurt in three-vehicle crash

A rear-end collision involving three vehicles on West Seventh Street Friday afternoon injured a local woman. It happened just after 1 p.m., according to the collision report from Hopkinsville Police, which says 54-year old Ronda McGee of Hopkinsville was westbound and rear-ended a stopped vehicle driven by 59-year old Marlene East of Herndon, pushing her into the rear of an automobile operated by 47-year old Christopher Blalock of Hopkinsville. One flown to hospital after I-24 crash

One person was flown to a Nashville hospital following a single-vehicle accident Friday night on I-24 in Christian County. ECC reported that westbound lanes were shut down near the 85 mile-marker—just west of the Oak Grove exit—for some time. Kentucky State Police is investigating the incident that happened shortly after 9 p.m. and has not provided any details.

For the first time since 2008, the Christian County Colonels are headed to the KHSAA State Tournament.
