The Hopkinsville Art Guild is bringing back the Be My SweetArt event for Valentine’s Day where attendees can stock up on candy and enjoy local art. Woman hurt in I-24 accident

An Ohio teenager was injured in a three-vehicle accident Monday evening on I-24 in Christian County. The report from Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. Brandon Myers says 17-year old Kiera Angelo of Boardman, Ohio was eastbound near the 85 mile-marker and was passing a tractor-trailer driven by 28-year old Kenswaylo Docher of Mississippi. Man arrested for cocaine, marijuana

A vehicle pursuit that began on West 14th Street in Hopkinsville Monday afternoon ended with the arrest of the driver for cocaine and marijuana charges. Officer Jerry Marcum attempted to stop 25-year old Shawn Boykin of Hopkinsville at 14th and Bethel after seeing him driving without a seatbelt. Hopkinsville gets win over Logan County

Hopkinsville got back on the winning ways with an 80-59 victory over Logan County. Jalen Johnson led the Tigers with 25 points, including five three pointers. Steven Cager added 15, Bryce Smith had 11 points and Alijah Watts added 10 as Hopkinsville improved to 9-11 on the season. Logan County was led in scoring by Austin Rayno’s 17 points, all in the 1st half as the Cougars fell to 11-12.
