An Ohio teenager was injured in a three-vehicle accident Monday evening on I-24 in Christian County.
The report from Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. Brandon Myers says 17-year old Kiera Angelo of Boardman, Ohio was eastbound near the 85 mile-marker and was passing a tractor-trailer driven by 28-year old Kenswaylo Docher of Mississippi.
Angelo switched back to the right lane too quickly and struck the front corner of Docher’s semi. Angelo’s car spun around and was pushed by the semi and Coucher then took exit 86 to avoid additional damage.
Angelo’s vehicle then struck another southbound tractor-trailer operated by 52-year old Kenneth Flener of Hazel.
Angelo was the only person injured and went by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of neck pain.
