Lady Tigers’ Davis commits to Motlow State

Hopkinsville High School guard Alicia Davis announced via Twitter on Wednesday that she has committed to Motlow State Community College in Tennessee. Davis, a 5-foot-3 senior, told WHOP at the team’s practice on Wednesday afternoon, that the school fit better with her skill set and she felt it was a good fit. CCHS’s Miller chosen Player of the Week

This week’s Jennie Stuart Orthopedics-Michael Venable State Farm Player of the Week is Christian County High School wrestler Dane Miller. Miller won the 144-pound championship last weekend at the Region 1 Wrestling Tournament at Paducah Tilghman High School. Commonwealth’s attorney opposes murder case dismissal in court

A White Plains woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Madisonville Tuesday afternoon.
