Christian County High School’s bowling team of Kane DeGuilio and Christian Lane qualified sixth after two games of baker qualifying in the Unified Division of the KHSAA State Bowling Tournament on Tuesday in Jeffersontown. Former Trigg County High School football coach Coby Lewis was named the new football coach at Calloway County High School on Tuesday. Calloway County made the announcement Tuesday afternoon via their social media page. The last two years Lewis has served as the offensive coordinator at Paducah Tilghman High School.

Former Fort Campbell soldier receives prison sentence for possessing child sexual abuse material

Former Fort Campbell soldier, 24-year-old Brett Ellison was sentenced in federal prison on Monday after he was found to possess child pornography. According to a report from the United States Attorney’s Office of the Western District of Kentucky, Ellison obtained and possessed child pornography between November 2019 and June 2022 while he was stationed at Fort Campbell.
