A Hopkinsville woman is facing a second-degree burglary charge after she allegedly broke several windows and unlawfully entered a residence on East Ninth Street Sunday.  According to the Hopkinsville police report, 21-year-old Dejona Jones is accused of damaging windows and entering the home of her ex-boyfriend and taking items on two separate occasions. Motorcyclist injured in Butler Road crash

A motorcyclist was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Butler Road last week in Christian County. According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, it happened Thursday around 2:30 p.m. when a motorcycle operated by 47-year-old Edward Gilstrap of Hopkinsville was approaching the intersection with Overby Lane. Todd Co. Central is now the latest Kentucky high school to be on the search of a new head football coach. On Monday morning, the school released a resignation statement from Robins thanking the school, players, and community. Coach Robins helped lead the Rebels to a 5-6 record this season and 23-29 in his five years as the head coach at Todd Co. Central.

Weston receives sentencing for Boulevard murder case

Jonathan Weston, one of the three individuals charged in connection to the 2022 shooting death of 19-year-old Alijah Watts at Casey’s General Store was sentenced to 8.5 years in jail in Christian Circuit Court on Monday.
