Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree has entered a guilty plea to misdemeanor charges in relation to incidents that occurred in 2022—including two counts of first-degree official misconduct and two counts of menacing. A woman who had been sought by Clarksville police for allegedly spraying an officer with bear mace in October has been taken into custody. A wreck on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard in Clarksville Tuesday afternoon closed the roadway for a short time and resulted in minor injuries.  According to the Clarksville Police Department, the two-vehicle crash occurred around 4:45 p.m. on Wilma Rudolph near and Fairbrook Place at Applebee’s.
